Suzuki FXR150 vs Suzuki Satria FU150….serupa tapi tak sama? September 5, 2010

Banyak pertanyaan dari biker tentang kedua produk tersebut. Mesin sama dengan Suzuki Satria FU 150 banyak para biker seringkali  mencibir performa FXR150. Motor fairing keluaran Suzuki hanya menang bentuk doang, performa paling sama saja dengan FU. Apakah betul anggapan tersebut..?? Sebenarnya tidak ada yang salah dengan opini tersebut mengingat mesin Satria FU memang sama plek dengan mesin FXR150. Tapi ingat….mesin Satria FU150 adalah downgrade dari Suzuki FXR150. Downgrade brothers……

Suzuki FXR150 sebenarnya cukup bagus. Baik dari segi performa ataupun model kala itu. Lahir dan diproduksi diMalaysia tahun 1997 untuk pasar Eropa, Australia serta Asia.  Sejatinya FXR diseting guna menggantikan eksistensi Suzuki 2 tak RGR 150 serta RGV 150. Mesin DOHC, 4 klep oil cooler plus speedometer digital , sasis diamond cut steel frame serta swing arm model banana, FXR150 bisa dikatakan hasil karya brilian dari Suzuki roda dua kubikasi 150cc. Disaat kompetitor masih berkutat dengan tehnologi 2 tak, Suzuki telah berani membikin terobosan menggebrak market dunia dengan produk motorsport 4 tak, 150cc. Sayang dengan satu alasan tertentu pihak Suzuki global menghentikan produk premium ini. Banyak para biker yang kecewa dengan keputusan Suzuki. Mesin DOHCnya mampu memuntahkan tenaga sampai 20hp.  Top speed berdasarkan data dan berbagai review tembus 150km/jam. Tercatat hingga sekarang para fans mania Suzuki FXR150 masih membludak. Bahkan diNew Zealand website resmi club FXR150 masih tersedia yaitu http://www.fxr150.co.nz/. Disitu part racing serta event tentang FXR150 selalu up to date.

Suzuki Satria 150FU sejatinya adalah Suzuki Raider 150 Thailand. Mesin yang sama plek dengan FXR150 buatan Malaysia merupakan motor semi  (underbound) bebek terkencang saat ini. Dengan kecepatan top speed rata-rata 135-140km/jam, Suzuki Raider 150 cepat mendapatkan hati di kancah roda dua Asia. Hingga tahun 2004 PT. Indomobil memutuskan memasarkan Suzuki Raider 150 ketanah air dengan nama Suzuki Satria FU150. Mesin DOHC, 4 klep kubikasi 150cc. Suzuki Satria FU berat kosong lebih ringan hampir 20kg, disinyalir merupakan keuntungan besar buat bebek Underbone ini dalam hal accelerasi. Lho tapi koq top speed kalah dengan FXR150..??.  Cukup dimaklumi karena berdasarkan sumber  Suzuki Malaysia Ternyata ada beberapa part Satria FU yang dikurangi komponennya terutama dalam hal kualitas. Selain itu kompresi mesin Satria FU (diMalaysia dikenal dengan Belang  R150) dikurangi menjadi 10,2 lebih rendah 0,5 dibanding FXR150 yang mencapai 10,7. Faktor inilah yang mengakibatkan tersunatnya potensi dari Satria FU.  Serupa tapi tak sama. Bukannya tanpa alasan….tujuan utama adalah menghemat cost sehingga banderol harga bisa ditekan plus menyesuaikan sasisnya yang lebih mungil ketimbang FXR150. Walau top speed secara standart hanya 140km jam, Satria FU tetap mempunyai kans besar untuk lebih kencang lagi. Sedikit kilikan dipastikan 155km/jam bisa enteng diraihnya. Memang butuh tenaga dan biaya ekstra tentunya. So pengen ngerasain sensasi mesin FXR150…? Suzuki Satria FU150 bisa  dijadikan alternatif. Silahkan buktikan sendiri…….. (iw/06/09/2010)

knp fxr150 lebih kenceng daripada satria FU???
soalnya dari segi porting lebih gede punya FXR 150, begitu juga karburatornya meskipun sama2 pake vakum diameter lebih gede punya FXR150 yaitu 29mm daripada FU yg pake 26mm. kompresi juga lebih tinggi punya FXR. oh ya, satu lagi perbedaannya yaitu liner FXR bisa di oversize, sedangkan FU linernya udah pake SCEM jadi ga bisa di oversize dah. kurang lebihnya begitu, maturnuwun…
