Athony West (Yamaha Akeno Speed racing) sebelumnya mengungkapkan kekecewaan yang luar biasa karena panitia penyelenggara dianggap kong kalikong dengan Yamaha Thai menjegal kemenangannya di race 2 SS600. Bahkan hasil sehari sebelumnya juga dibatalkan. Berikut kutipan uneg-uneg doi via FB pribadinya dan sudah IWB terjemahkan dalam bahasa Indonesia…

*Bukti terbesar tentang adanya politik di dunia racing !!. Setelah memenangkan race di sini di Thailand. Seperti biasa semua motor disimpan dalam area khusus setelah race. Kemudian mereka mengatakan ingin melakukan pengecekan camshaft pada 3 motor pemenang. Karena tidak ada yang kita sembunyikan mekanikku melepas dan menunjukkan cam pada FIM scrutineer. Part kami lulus tes karena memang masih menggunakan komponen standart Yamaha. Lalu penyelenggara dan Yamaha Thailand memaksa FIM Scrutineer agar mekanik kami juga melepas dan menunjukkan motor penggerak?*

*Padahal motor hanya bisa dilepas jika ada protes formal dan pembayaran dari tim lain (mungkin maksudnya biaya yang ditimbulkan cak). Yamaha Thailand tidak menyanggupinya. Mereka tidak memiliki kuasa melepas motor penggerak kami.?Jadi secara bersama-sama penyelenggara dan Thai Yamaha telah memecat FIM Scrutineer dari pekerjaannya. Jadi tanpa FIM Scrutineer mereka mencoba mengambil alih situasi dan meminta kami melepas motor. Karena kita?melihat apa yang mereka lakukan sudah tidak benar dan tidak sesuai aturan?kami melihat mereka sedang coba mencurangi kami. Kita tidak pernah mau melepas motor penggerak. Dan juga Thai Yamaha menolak untuk melepas motornya. Tapi karena kita di Thailand?.sirkuit kandangnya, mereka menggunakan powernya bersama penyelenggara ARRC untuk mengendalikan situasi?.*

*Sangat mengecewakan diperlakukan sangat buruk disini hanya karena kami tim privat yang tidak memiliki power. Aku memenangkan balapan secara fair. Mereka kalah dengan buruk serta tidak mengikuti aturan racing. Jadi dengan sangat menyesal aku telah didiskualifikasi dari kemarin dan hari ini di race ARRC Thailand. Aku tahu motorku bukanlah yang terkencang ditrek. Aku percaya pada tim dan mereka kerjakan apa yang perlu dilakukan. Aku sedih dengan situasi ini. Aku tahu betapa berat mereka bekerja dan betapa gembiranya dengan hasil pekan ini. Serta kerja kerasku saat race. Aku membalap sekuat yang aku bisa dari posisi 7 ke 1 dan ini kemenangan yang tidak mudah. Aku sedih melihat ARRC penuh dengan permainan politik. Aku akan membuat keputusan minggu ini apakah akan tetap melanjutkan berlaga di ajang korup seperti Asia road Racing Champ?*

Sontak dunia berang atas tindakan panitia ARRC. Makian dan hujatan ke FB ARRC datang dari berbagai negara. Contoh kekesalan mereka bisa sampeyan intip dibawah ini….

Nah…dari sana FIM Asia akhirnya merilis surat resmi atas?diskualifikasi yang dilakukan panitia ARRC dikelas SS600. Secara umum ada 5 butir sangggahan. Dan IWB bisa singkat…

- Tim top 3 diwajibkan melaporkan part komponen pada tim scrutineering. Namun tim 13 ?(Anthony West/Akeno Racing) diklaim menolak perintah tersebut

- Setelah waktu yang ditentukan…tim 13 tidak melakukan perintah dan malah keluar dari ruang scrutineering tanpa ada satu bautpun dilepas. Akhirnya panitia mengeluarkan diskualifikasi

- Sesuai dengan peraturan maka hasil race pun dibatalkan baik race 1 ataupun dua

- Dipastikan technical director memang mengundurkan diri saat scrutineering kelas UB150. Jadi ketika proses?scrutineering kelas SS600 posisinya sudah digantikan oleh Mr. Somchow Thanawin (FIM Techical Steward)

- Sangat disayangkan berkembang isu dan asumsi yang membuat cedera balap ARRC yang selalu menjunjung tinggi ?sportsmanship serta profesionalism.

Yup…itulah 5 butir surat yang dirilis FIM Asia dalam menjawab pro kontra diskualifikasi Anthony West dikelas Supersport. Dan isinya kebanyakan memang tidak sama dengan klaim West. Dengan dirilisnya surat ini oleh FIM maka masalah dianggap clear alias selesai. Nah…kini tinggal sampeyan yang menyimpulkan sendiri kangbro…lebih percaya West atau FIM?.
